Type 43, 1/2400

Beyond the famous Type 42 destroyer, the Royal Navy had proposed a follow up destroyer class known as the Type 43 which is armed with better radar and the Sea Dart MK II missiles. A large variant and a small variant of the ship was proposed, and both were rejected as the small variant was deemed to have inadequate capabilities and the large variant was deemed to be too expensive.

This design reflects the large variant, and multiple aritistic licenses were taken in modeling it.
