This spinning top is powered by your breath that you can blow with a standard 5mm drinking straw through the body of the spinning top.

The more you blow the faster the spinning top will rotate.
You can compete with your friends with several spinning tops who will have the longest run.
With the steel version and two accelerating breathes I achieved 5:15 Minutes run time.
It is also a good training device to strengthen your lung.

There is an optional rod available you can insert in the upper hole to start the spinning top with your fingers.

Important note:
for steel metal versions you might have to drill or grind the bore for the straw. Due to the manufacturing process it can happen, that the inner surface is too rough and there is too much friction to the straw.
I used a Dremel with 5mm diameter grinder and it worked perfectly.
