Product Description
This is a blister chamber used in clinical experiments employing a suction blister protocol. Similar to Per Follin’s report in the Journal of Immunologic Methods, a suction device (separate) is attached to the end of these chambers. About 1-2 hours of suction at 25cm of Hg is required to create a blister at the dermal-epidermal junction. The blister roof can be removed and cells can be harvested such as keratinocytes or Langerhan’s cells. The subjects blistered areas can be challenged using an overlying blister challenge chamber (separate). The device comes as a set of 4 or as a set of 8. This is pending FDA approval via IND. Compatibale with 1/4" ID x 3/8" OD flexible tubing.
