Product Description
Festiniog Railway Van No. 1 or 2 in as built condition.
A model of passenger luggage van 1 or 2 built by Brown Marshall & Co. in 1873 in 4mm scale / OO-9.
Designed to use Dundas DM60 FR Coach Bogies. It can also use PECO Bowsider Bogies by removing the Ø4mm bosses and opening out the holes to Ø3.5mm.
This version features an exposed top rail for the sliding doors as seen in early photographs.
Known today as a 'Curly Roof' Van, they were originally referred to as having a 'Turtle roof'.
