Product Description

In the 1960s, the Royal Navy at some point proposed a 60000-ton carrier known as the CVA-01, which features 2 steam-catapults and a large hanger for 50 aircrafts. The carrier was eventually cancelled out of assertion that with its oversea bases, the Royal Navy need no large carriers to project power over most parts of the world, and a large carrier is vulnerable in the North Atlantic.

The Royal Navy moved on to rely on small fleet carriers, and some argued that such changes have caused the Falkand war as it gave confidence to the Argentina armed forces.

This is a model with thinner walls for affordable FUD print.
