Mount for ELEMNT / Bolt - Low - Trek Madone Blendr

Mount a Wahoo ELEMNT (or BOLT) on your Trek Madone (models Madone 9 and others that use the Blendr system). This 3D printed item mounts to the Trek-supplied Blendr bar base. It is reported that the straight version of this mount fits a BMC, so this low version should also fit a BMC. This is a low mount and is similar to the low (Garmin) mount provided with your Trek Madone 9. I've used mine for more than 1,000 miles and ... so far, so good. Several hundred of this mount have been made and shipped by Shapeways (slightly fewer low mounts compared to straight mounts), to users in more than 30 countries, so it is a fairly mature  design with tons of road miles accumulated . The Wahoo BOLT also fits this mount. As an alternative to the Low mount, you may be interested in a Straight mount (Shapeways: https://goo.gl/wFLW16) that brings the computer closer to the handlebars. I prefer the Straight model. If ordering in the base material (natural or processed versatile plastic), I suggest ordering the mount in black as other colors flaked slightly during my testing of prototypes. The premium versatile material is a more durable material (in black or white) and does not flake/delaminate. The premium material may have an artifact such as uneven (sunken) sidewalls, but nothing that affects functionality. ** This item is priced at the Shapeway cost (no markup; no profit to me), so there is NO WARRANTY on the design.
