Diesel locomotives TU3-001 and TU3-002 operated on the Small October railway in Leningrad. Subsequently, they were written off. What remains of the TU 3-001, is located on the territory of the depot St. Petersburg-Finland (PM-12) and expects a possible recovery on the initiative of graduates of the ICD. TU3-002 was transferred to the Museum of narrow-gauge engineering in Lavassaare, Estonia. Locomotives TL3-TL3 and 003-043 was operated at the Yaroslavl children's railway. The TU3-039 locomotive is operated on the Lviv children's railway to this day. And also operation will be in Yekaterinburg on the children's road.
