Product Description
This model is based on the scant information still available describing the life boats used on the Canadian Pacific Coast Service's Princess Joan and Princess Elizabeth. This includes a description of specifications and some poor quality photos from the side and looking down into an open boat. Both ships were delivered by the Fairfield Shipbuilding and Engineering Co in 1930. They sailed back and forth on regular assignment between Victoria and Vancouver. The boats were 20' long, 6' 9" wide, and 2' 7 1/4" deep, and were designed to carry 21 passengers.
