An alleged domestically built aircarft carrier of the Chinese navy had recently (within this year) appeared in the Dalian shipyard. With the identification of the aircraft hanger being installed, the rumor is likely to be true. While the ships's final outlook is a mystery, popular speculations are made as the following:
As the construction was ordered while CV Liaoning was still in construction, it is unlikely that the hull of the new carrier will be very different from the Kuznetsov. However, the following changes can be made:
1. Extend the flight deck on the left which also facilitates the addition of a third elevator
2. Raise the height of the bridge to accomodate the ASEA radars, meanwhile narrowing it to reduce the space it occupies
3. Improvement of propulsion system and possibly adapting an integrated electric propulsion system.
As with all speculated Chinese ships, it is clasified as a never were ship due to uncertainty of the final product.
Released in celebration of the 200th model sold.
