4mm Scale
I have based this model on the Chiemsee-Bahn steam tram, a meter gauge line in Prien am Chiemsee, Germany. It is one of the world's last steam tramways, and the oldest continuously operated steam tramway in regular operation.
The model is designed to run on the Kato-Peco Small England chassis, a smooth-running and well-made unit. Because of the compact nature of the model couplings are fitted to the face of the buffer beams and not in NEM pockets as in my previous models. Couplings and lamps are printed as part of the model. Some 0.45mm brass wire and a smoke box door dart will be needed to complete the tram as shown.
