WW1 saw a lot of modern day privateers commissioned by the Central Powers to capture and destroy British and Allied shipping all over the world. These raiders, disguised as freighters, roamed the sea alone in search of prey throughout the war, tying up huge fleets for the Allies.
The Entente also launched the Q-Ship, designed to lure German U-Boats to sink them.
This ship is a loose adaptation of the SMS Wolf, one of the well-known German raiders.
