OO/EM/P4 Lightweight Platform Supports x 32
Based on the supports used on the new northbound platform at Ribblehead Station on the Settle-Carlisle line, these are used to build platform structures quickly and cheaply. They are common at many other smaller stations around the UK. They could also possibly be used on a model to show a platform extension, giving further realism to a scene.
It includes slots that allow Evergreen 1.5mm x 3.2mm plastic strip section to simply click into place. This also allows a platform deck to sit on top of the plastic strip and give a height perfect for UK rolling stock (given the bases are placed at sleeper level). In real life, wooden beams are slotted onto plates.
If they are placed 36mm apart, there is a slot at the rear of the support for the fenceposts of 'Ratio Midland Railway Diagonal Fencing' to be glued into place with vertical support for strength.
