Product Description
This is a model of the Romanian 'Resita' type, in H0e scale, however the boiler and tanks have been reduced by a scale 500mm, so that it fits on a Minitrains Brigadelok chassis. This produces a cute chunky locomotive that captures the appearance of the prototype whilst a solid and well performing chassis.
To complete you will need
- Minitrains Brigadelok chassis (you will need to buy a complete locomotive).
- H0e etch from Narrow Planet (https://shop.narrowplanet.co.uk/collections/euronarrowgauge/products/resita-0-8-0t-dn2t-etched-detail-components).
- Short handrail knobs from Eileen's Emporium or Alan Gibson - these fit in the tank top handrails.
- 0.4mm brass wire for cabside handrails, foot steps.
- Various sections of wire for the pipework along the top of the boiler.
- RT Models turbo generator, lights and jacks (https://www.rtmodels.co.uk/rt_models_014.htm).
