Product Description
This running plate is designed as a replacement part for the Bachmann N Scale Thomas model. Bachmann's original running plate is designed after Thomas' CGI model, while this one is designed based on the Model, specifically as Thomas appeared from Season 3 onward, with smaller steps than the Season 1 model had.
The model is designed to slide over the mechanism and held in place by Thomas' main bodyshell. I designed the running plate so that all of the Bachmann detail parts (buffers, dummy coupling hooks, lamp, lamp irons, and brake pipes) can be reused.
As far as painting goes, I've found Vallejo 70.844 Deep Sky Blue to be close to the blue that Bachmann used for Thomas.
