Founded in 1865, the Robert Hudson Company of Leeds produced a variety of tipping wagons for narrow and standard gauge track.
This model represents a 200 Cubic Foot (5.7 m^3) capacity, 8' 6" ( 2.6m) wheelbase, UK standard gauge example.
- The tipping body must be attached to the chassis with cyanoacrylic adhesive (Superglue, etc), either in the upright or tipped position.
- Basic brake gear and buffers included, but these varied greatly, so you might want to substitute these. Brake-handles can be fashioned from 0.5mm wire.
- The axle-boxes have 1mm pilot holes - drill out for your preferred wheelsets.
- No couplings are included but Peco NR-102 4x ELC Couplings are a suitable Rapido type.
