Product Description
Version 3 is up in the store! Thanks to some user feedback I have made a subtle adjustment to help compensate for manufacturing +/- tolerances. This should allow this gear to function better than the older model.
3D Printing has a manufacturing accuracy of +/- .15mm. Do not use excessive force to push the gear onto the axle. If needed, use fine grain sandpaper to carefully enlarge the gear hole until you can push the gear on with your fingers.
This is a replacement gear for the original nylon gear attached the tuner dial for the Shortwave SW dial on Sony CRF-320 and CRF-330 radios. The original nylon gears shrink overtime and crack. Once cracked they swivel on the tuner dial rod and cause the dials to be stuck. I successfully replaced the broken gear on my Sony CRF-320 with this. I was able to press fit these on without the need for glue. I used prints of the white strong and flexible for my radio repair.
