A stand for displaying your fully assembled coat of arms (shield, helm, mantle, and optional banner) on a desk, table top or shelf. This stand is suited to support any combination of heraldic elements you choose but not too extravagant so as to not overwhelm the overall look.
The stand comes in three parts which make it's array of display choices very versatile:
- The main stand portion consists of a base which sits atop a surface and a primary support post with a point of connection for each of the other two parts. The lower portion of the post (below the bottom of the shield you choose) is where you can clip on any of the banner options if you want to display a motto or family name.
- The shield clip slides onto the back of any shield style and has a cylindrical joint on the back which fits into the ring located about halfway up the primary post. This allows the shield to be tilted in either direction.
- The helm stake fits over the very top post and has a peg on top that is perfectly placed to position any of the helms facing dexter, sinister or affronté. For anyone who chooses to display their arms without a helm and mantling, this part can be excluded so the post is not visible beyond the top edge of the shield.
NOTE: Since the stand is printed in three parts, they have been sprued together with short rods. These can easily be twisted to remove each of the parts or cut with a pair of clippers or hobby knife for a cleaner look.
