22re to AEM engine position puck adapter version 4.3
Custom cap and rotor adapter for 22re and 22rte distributors. This adapts the 22re distributor to the AEM engine position puck. For use with lots of aftermarket ecms. Allowing coil on plug and full sequential injection.
The AEM puck has 24 teeth to simulate the crank and 1 tooth to simulate the cam. Because this is driven at cam speed the crank would effectively have 12 teeth. And 1 cam tooth. 4 teeth driven off the stock distributor was plenty for good ignition control stock. As long as your chain is in good condition. I have used the stock distributor for batch injection with after market ecms with great timing control. And no timing issues.
