Product Description
ATP synthase is the worlds smallest power generator. This is the membrane bound part of the ATP synthase protein. ATP Synthase uses the proton gradient within the mitochondria to generate ATP molecules. The ATP molecules go on to power many reactions within a cell including those that power your muscles.

PubMed Abstract:
F1F0 ATP synthases use a transmembrane proton gradient to drive the synthesis of cellular ATP. The structure of the cytosolic F1 portion of the enzyme and the basic mechanism of ATP hydrolysis by F1 are now well established, but how... [ Read More & Search PubMed Abstracts ]
