The Lidinoid is a triply periodic minimal surface.
I'm not so sure, however, if the formula I used (taken from wikipedia) maybe only approximates a minimal surface, seeing as the surface seems to have regions of positive Gauß curvature.
The irregular hole pattern has been calculated by simulating a Gray-Scott reaction diffusion process on the surface.
In my opinion, the color version (also available from my shop) looks much better, but I had to make it bigger, ergo more expensive.
