Product Description
A commissioned piece inspired by the cartoonists Roland Emett and Peter Barnfield, this freelance O-16.5 scale locomotive is a homage to the delightfully peculiar machines in their original drawings.
This engine is intended for use with the matching coach, and following the rather elongated style of the originals the minimum necessary loading gauge required is 81mm from rail height.
IMPORTANT: while most models available here have been pre-tested and known to work, this scratch-aid has not been printed/tested by myself, so while the measurements appear correct it is considered strictly experimental.
(Note: various materials are provided, however, WNV and BNV will require more preparation for smooth painting that FUD and FED.)
The following additional parts need to be sourced separately to complete:
00 Scale Hornby ‘Bill’ (or ‘Ben’) loco chassis (with couplings)
