DeWalt Staple Gun Top Cover Modification

"A miss is as good as a mile" is what the proverb says!  With this modification you will find that your DeWalt Heavy-Duty Tacker and Nailer (model DWHTTR350) can get your staples and brads about 4mm closer into a corner than it could before.

Carefully remove the existing top cover pealing it off from the front and working back.  The rectangular plastic loops that hold it in place at the front are going to be cut off later, but be careful not to damage the two at the back.  Slide this 3D printed part into place, trim the front of the top cover as illustrated, refit the top cover, and very carefully trim down the front edge where the old cover meets the new.
