Product Description
4 US gal "flimsies" type fuel canister was designed before WWI for military aviation use. They were made of several panels of thin (easily-punctured) flat mild-steel plates, which were welded together part by part (costly and time-consuming). They would often leak around these long welded lines and these fuel leaks would often cause vehicle fires.
This kit contains all necessary parts for assembling a set of SIX fuel canisters under 1/35 scale. It can make a fine automobile, aviation or military dioramas display alongside with same 1/35 scale figures, military gear or vehicles. Any extra diorama accessories are not included and should be purchased separately.
