HMS Enchantress sloop 1:2400 mid WW2

This is HMS Enchantress (L56), a Bittern class sloop as she appeared mid war. She differs from her sister ships Bittern and Stork in her armaments. There are only 2 single 4" as opposed to 3 twin 4" on the other two warships. By 1943 we also see a much heavier depth charge armament. Also more Carly floats. A tall antenna on the rear deckhouse is not depicted as too slender. We also see a pair of 2lbrs in elevated tubs behind the funnel and search light tower. She survived the war and was disarmed and sold into the merchant service as Lady Enchantress.

Simple one piece model design for smaller scales and tweaked to ensure as compliant as possible with Shapeways across a range of materials and the perfect base on which modellers can add the fine detail flourishes to, depending on your skill level. The model has ‘floored guns’ for the best durability to reduce breakages, and be printable in the material offered. Designed by Philip Warnes and can be used at a larger hex scale with his SeaLion Supremacy game, or any other naval tabletop game that uses this scale.
