Model Kit Domed Hex Base - Large - .2" Receptacle

This is a 6" Diameter Domed Hex Model Kit Base

This model kit base has a  0.20" receptacle for a rod / tube to mount your model.  You can use a solid rod or a tube if you are entrepanurial enough to drill out holes for power socket and switches.

This is similar to hex bases for many wargaming miniatures so your model kits will feel in tune with a miniature collection.

The walls on this base are extra thick for stability and to help keep appropriately sized model kits from leaning.

If you're model kit is smaller, there are two versions of a 3.5" diameter base with 0.16" and 0.20" rod receptacles.

When preparing to paint the base, I recommend a good wash, light sand, using an adhesion promoter, and then a sandable high-fill primer before your base color.
