Wave Spring new stack

Wave springs can be more compact than regular coil springs giving them an advantage in certain applications.  This spring  was designed for evaluation rather than any specific use.

Each individual spring layer is comprised of four complete waves.  Eight springs are connected together with each alternating layer being rotated by a set amount.

This spring is generated using a less computationally intensive method that allows the stacking of more layers without bogging down my 3D design software.  Each spring has a minimum thickness slightly above 0.7 millimeters.  The edge of each spring is 3.2 millimeters wide.

Actual spring performance is likely obtained from versatile or multijet fusion plastics.  Other materials would just be useful for visual display.
