FRAB11 FR Plain Axlebox without Grease Cover SM32
Introduced alognside the 2 Ton capacity Iron Slate Wagon, these were incredibly basic axleboxes. Simply unsprung cast iron pedestals with brass plain bearings lubricated by grease. The grease filling holes were nominally covered by a swivelling cover, much like a keyhole, however they were frequently missing. These axleboxes represent this state.
Fit using suppied plastic pins, 14BA studs and nuts or metal Square Headed Pins AC02
