N-Scale Portable Grain Dryer - Transport

This is an N-scale (1:160) model of a Portable Grain Dryer, modeled in the "Transport" position, with the dryer sitting on its own wheels, with the jacklegs retracted, and both the loading & unloading augers in their upright and stored position.

Modeled loosely after several prototypes, this farm impement is typically found on farms which harvest grains or corn crops. Moisture content is critical in the sale of these crops, and farmers will often dry their harvest down to an optimal level if conditions weren't ideal at the time of harvest. This model features a blower system and loading/unloading auger system both driven by the Power Take-Off (PTO) of a farm tractor, hooked up in the front ... shown here in its transport position, and featuring scale-accurate dimensions.

Designers Note: This is a finely detailed, miniature scale model. It is small, delicate and fragile. It is my reccomendation that this model not be treated as a toy.
