The Cavalier Turbo Mustang III was an attemp from Cavalier Aircraft Corporation of keeping the P-51 Mustang in service.
Featuring a Rolls Royce Dart 510 Turboprop Cavalier tried to spark some interest in the new model (now renamed as Turbo Mustang III). Unfortunately the USAF and other air forces weren't interested in the Mustang III.
Finally the design was sold to Piper and it evolve into the PA-48 Enforcer.
