Product Description
There is no more recongizable locomotive for fans of narrow gauge then the D&RGW C-16. Denver and Rio Grande 22, later renumbered D&RGW 228, the Alamosa, was built with a unique wagon top boiler. This model represents the boiler as orginally built, with shorter smoke box and air pump on the engineer's side. It includes a large headlight bracket for an oil lamp, and a fire box door to position as you please.
