Product Description
This model aims to produce horizontal and vertical alignment for O14 narrow gauge model track.
Locking adjacent baseboards togetherneeds to be achieved by other means (bolts, latches, clamps etc).
Each joiner (there are two in this product) is fixed to its basboard with brass M4 screws (not supplied) and the rails soldered to those screws. It's advised to pre-tin the screw head so that soldering can be achieved swiftly (before melting the joiner!)
The joiner includes a spacing block for spacing the feet of one type of rail commonly used in O14 modelling: Micro Engineering ME code 55. Given experience suggests that the prints regularly include 0.2mm of shrinkage, this item may well be good for Peco IL-115 rail (as used in the Roy Link / KB Scale O14 system).
