Product Description
The Shapeways Face Shield (v2) is an updated* version of the face shield developed by Prusa Research
When you order this product, you will receive:
- Top shield that touches the face
- Two foam strips, cut to 6 inches, that can be added to the forehead piece for comfort. Easily peel off the adhesive strip and stick it on the curved area that comes in contact with the forehead
- Clear plastic shield to attach to the top shield
- Elastic to attach to the top shield to wear around the head. Elastic is cut to 12 inches, giving plenty of room for seamless adjustment on different head sizes
Our materials are not manufactured in medical-grade materials and should be cleaned and disinfected regularly.
Shapeways received written permission from PRUSA3D to manufacture this product during this crisis.
*The Shapeways Face Shield (v2) is a modification of the Prusa RC2 Face Shield, allowed under its Creative Commons license. The modifications made by Shapeways are:
- Updated the connection points on the headband for a more comfortable elastic band
- Changed pegs to hold clear shield more securely
- Increased the surface area of the headband to distribute the force more evenly on the forehead
- Removed bottom piece that attached to clear shield
