A 24th scale Navigation Light that is fitted to a board, these were used on late model Elco PT Boats. This is the Starboard or stbd side version (looking towards the bow or front of the boat the stbd side is to the right hand side. These boards sat at the side of the radio room roof and a life raft sat between them. The light can be made of transparent plastic and it has a hole through the back into the lens area so that it can have a miniature LED fitted As it's the Stbd Side Light the lens should be be painted green with a translucent paint (the rest can be painted to match the superstructure. The Boats often had names which were painted on these boards.
