15mm QRVX-4A Umatilla x2

The QRVX-4A Umatilla is the standard medium drone fanjet of the UCSA. Capable of operating in semiautonomous or fully remote-piloted modes, it is often controlled from a Pueblo or Arapaho scout or attack reconnaissance fanjet. The Umatilla is capable of carrying a pair of AGM-124 LAGMs or eight PGRS rockets under each wing. It is small enough to be carried by a flatbed pickup when dissassembled, and can be reassembled in under two hours by a pair of competent technicians. Typical endurance is twelve hours, or nine hours when carrying munitions.

Typically, two Umatillas are assigned to each Pueblo scout in an air cavalry troop. The drones transmit imagery and sensor data back to their mothership, greatly increasing the Pueblo's efficiency and allowing it to stand off from high-threat areas. In remote-piloted mode, the observer's flight controls are routed to remote output and transmitted to the Umatilla.

The Umatilla is also used by artillery units for target acquisition. Artillery batteries have two Umatillas in their fire direction center.
