CdN/ Wagon Frames
This is a 4mm scale model of a wagon frame as used on the Chemin de Fer des Côtes-du-Nord in Brittany, north west France. It is also intended as a base from which you can build your own wagon bodies.
The frames are designed to be printed in Plastic to take full advantage of the metal wheel bearings running within nylon hubs. The wheels used on this model are ref Markits MRTT9Do/b, but other 12 mm gauge 8mm diameter wheels with pinpoint axels may be suitable.
A separate print of the wagon body is available designed to be printed in Fine Detail Plastic which will show the planking brackets and fixings in crisp details. At present a flatbed wagon is available, but further wagon bodies are proposed.
