Generic container ship full hull 1:700

This is a single ship example of a generic container ship fully laden with containers and a full hull profile.

Based on a design by M.Kalast and modified by Martin Rait for Shapeways printing and is a full hull below waterline design. You can mount on a stand/cradle as is, or cut to waterline depending if you are a modeller or naval war gamer.

This model is scaled based on the modeller's length dimension of 247m. The elements on the ship are likely not to scale - many being made to 'look good' - this model may be closer to 1:1000 if some elements are used to determine true scale.

It can be used at an appropriate hex scale with a modern adaption of the SeaLion Supremacy game, or any other naval tabletop game that uses this scale.

A perfect model to use in those modern piracy scenarios - combine with modern vessels coming to the rescue.
