Relieve the stress on the nut from extreme break angles (where the strings come in from the tuners).   This assists in returning a bent note to proper tune by pulling the inner strings of your guitar in-line with the nut. To install:  Loosen strings A - G enough to pull the bridge pins (keep them matched in the order they came out). slide the strings' ball ends through the opening of the "String Spider".  Place the sides around the washers of the Low and High E string tuners.  Retune the guitar and work the A - G strings with extreme bending.  keep retuning until each string stabilizes.  Then enjoy stability and playability from here until the next string change.
