Product Description
(Hollow back) This is face of a NSWGR 16AA axlebox, from works drawing 29185, in 1.125"/foot scale for 5" gauge track.
These axleboxes were used on the 6 wheel pullman bogies, also BMT wagons when fitted with G type bogies. Undoubtedly other types as well. The face looks the same as most other types so depending on how fussy you are could be used on lots of wagons and carriages.
The intention is this face be screwed/glued to a steel axlebox that suits the particualr wagon.
