Flat fan

To use this model you will need a 5015 fan (1 dollar or less), some pliers and a soldering iron.

This is my fan duct I use for my Creality CR-10s. I decided to publish it in order to help other users that have the same problem than me: I used to have the "twisted fan duct" but the results were never as expected because of the fact that the extruder was screwed to the base with the plastic model, and then it was melted down with the use and time, and began to trigger a horrible layer shifting. I printed it with Nylon, ABS, PLA all of them ended like that.

This model solved my problem. The same 5015 fan is needed, and it will be sticked to the right side of the original cooler box. The model goes adhered down of both the exit of the fan and the original black metal box.

Instructions:

• print the model with your CR-10s with PETG, ABS or Nylon (high temp filament)
• cut the original wires of the tip cooler, close to the fan
• remove the original fan screws and take off the cooler and the little duct
• solder the wires of the new 5015 fan
• stick the fan to the right side of the box with some hard glue, like Contact adhesive
• before everything gets fixed, stick the printed part down to the box and the fan, make sure that the wind blows correctly and without leakage
• wait the needed time for the glue and print!
