Product Description
Ogham is an ancient form of Celtic writing, primarily found in Ireland, consisting of markings and cuts into the corner of a rock pillar, using the edge as a line to help differentiate letters. Dating as far back as the 4th century, Ogham is one of the oldest written languages in Ireland, if not the world, and, amazingly, can be easily understood to this day.
This Ogham pendant, reading "home" (in English), is a modern twist of the ancient form of writing, reflecting for the tradition and the modernity of Ireland. The pendant reminds the wearer of both their heritage and their present.
Perfect for those who always want to have a piece of home with them.
