Redcat Everest Gen7 Hub Caps

I designed these hub caps to fit the stock Redcat Everest Gen7 wheels.  The ones in the picture have an “S” on them, as I made a custom set for my wife’s rig, but the ones listed are plain.  To use them, you need to replace the M4 nylon lock nuts with M4 flanged and knurled lock nuts, as they have a lower profile.  I bought mine at my local Ace Hardware.

I would recommend buying the “White Natural Versatile Plastic” ones, then paint them to your liking.  The result will be more realistic.  I used Tamiya white primer, followed by Tamiya satin black.  I applied with a brush and it was relatively painless.

I would also recommend pre-threading the hub caps using an M4 screw.  The one that holds the spare tire on the sport model works well, if you don’t have a spare screw handy.  Use caution not to overtighten, as it may strip.
