Product Description
These fins are designed as an easy upgrade for Rudy Pando's (Spirit of ob1 on the RPF) crystal chamber for the Roman Props MK1 Obi Wan lightsaber.
The fins should just clip straight onto the existing brass wire run rods on the back with no further modification.
My test piece was printed in Raw Bronze and this is what I recommend. Shapeways Raw Bronze is 90% copper and 10% tin, in my test part printed in this I submerged it in drain cleaner which removed most of the surface tin leaving me with a much more coppery appearance.
[PLEASE NOTE: Shapeways Steel, in my experience, is not as dimensionally accurate as the other materials and I suggest if you are planning to choose this material be prepared that it may not clip in place properly and may need to be either glued or have material filed away to fit]
