Fairbanks Morse & Co. 60 Cubic Foot Universal Cinder Conveyer in S Scale with geometry for serving one (1) track 24' centers. The multiple track Universal Cinder Conveyor had a somewhat different geometry at the base (22' track centers). Used in both configurations at numerous sites around the Chesapeake & Ohio Railway and many other railroads. This model follows prototype at Martin, Kentucky and Danville, Boone County, West Virginia. A similar cinder conveyor was manufactured by Ogle. Two double track Fairbanks Morse & Co. cinder conveyers were used at Hinton, West Virginia, two at Stephens, Kentucky (one of which was later moved to Peru, Indiana).
