These parts, compatible with Lego axles and pins are the vertex of a geodesic dome.
This geodesic dome is based on a pentakis icosidodecahedron which is the envelope of a vertex-centered orthogonal projection of a 4D platonic solid (the 600-cell).

It is an icosidodecahedron with pentagonal pyramid on the pentagonal faces. Faces are either equilateral or isosceles triangles. It's based on a (2,0) icosahedral geodesic polyhedra.
Considering internal symmetries, two geodesic dome designs are possible :
- the traditional decagonal base (26 parts, half sphere; 4 kind of parts)
- an alternative hexagonal base (27 parts, more than half a sphere; 2 kind of parts)
A full sphere would require 42 parts (30x 6-edges vertices+ 12x 5-edges vertices).
Since it is difficult to spot which leg of a 6-edges vertex part should go toward a 5-edges vertex, a Poka-Yoke system helps spotting these legs.
Only vertex parts are included (no axles, no pins, no plates).
Axle length may need adjustments depending of final target size.
This is a new design, compatibility has been check with sample parts.
