Nasmyth Wilson was a leading UK manufacturer of locomotives and heavy industrial machinery, founded in 1836 and dissolved in 1940. The company, based in Salford, produced two UK standard gauge 0-8-0 tank engines for the nearby Astley & Tyldesley Colliery. The first, MADEN, was works No.918 produced in 1910, the second, EMANUEL CLEGG, was No.1419 built in 1924. Both were retired in 1958 and sold for scrap in 1962. A discussion of modelling these locos can be found on

NOTES- This TT3 (1:100) scale body-shell has been designed to fit the TT (1:120) scale Berliner Bahn/Zeuke BR81 /DR92 0-8-0 chassis.
- Buffer beams, steps and safety valves are printed beneath the body-shell.
- It is necessary to cut the Berliner Bahn/Zeuke chassis to fit the body-shell.
- Attach the printed buffer beams to the body-shell with cyanoacrylic adhesive (Superglue, etc)
- Offer up the chassis to the body-shell and make cuts upwards from the bottom of the chassis so that it fits between the printed body-shell's new buffer beams.
- Cut downwards at the front of the Berliner Bahn/Zeuke footplate, removing steps and original front buffer beam.
