This 1:8 magneto mounting is designed to fit to the Wolseley Viper and Hispano-Suiza 8 engines also on sale here. It carries the 2 BTH A8 magnetos.
The Wolseley Viper engine was a 11.7L V8 WW1 aircraft engine of 200-220HP. It was actually a licence built version of the direct drive Hispano-Suiza 8 and was fitted to the SE5a and Spad fighter aircraft, amongst others.
