Douglas XB-42 Mixmaster pair 1/200

The XB-42 was one of the most advanced propeller-driven aircraft ever conceived. It was very fast, had good range, and could have carried a heavy bomb load. Unfortunately, the advent of jet propulsion and the imminent end of World War Two made it obsolete. The models come two to a set, one with a single canopy and extended landing gear and one with two bubble canopies and auxiliary jet engines. They might make interesting additions to a Luftwaffe '46 scenario.

This is a re-scale from our Douglas XB-42 Mixmaster pair 1/285 6mm. Some parts have been modified to better fit the new scale.
