Product Description
Use this mount to put your magsafe compatable iphone onto the dash of your 98-04 Toyota Tacoma. This mount replaces the stock airbag switch or switch blank next to the center air vents. If you have a 98-00 you just need to unmount the stock airbag switch and push it back into the dash (you can leave it connected). If you have a 01-04, you just need to remove the stock switch blank.
This is designed to only use the apple magsafe charger: https://amzn.to/3mDwPqx. To install, feed the usb cable of the magsafe disc through the hole in the mount. Carefully push the part of the use cable where it meets the magsafe disc into the recess in the bottom of the mount. There is an opening on the back of the mount that can be used to help with this procedure. Once you get the cable seated, you can press the magsafe disc into the recess in the mount. It should be a nice friction fit without any play. If there is a little bit of play, you can put a do of hot glue on the back of the disc or recess to help hold this disc in place.
You can now feed the usb cable back into the dash and attach to whatever power source you have available. Keep in mind the magsafe requires a 20W adapter in order to work correctly.
