Cornell's Inducted Fan Drone Build Project 2024:
3D Printed Part (3. Lid Cover-A) Description:
The (Lid Cover-A), primary function is to cap off the top half of (Frame-A) to add protection to the (Electronic Components) of (Frame-A). Furthermore, (Lid Cover-A) is the location where the (Flight Control Board) will be attached by (4)#4-40 x 3/8", Socket Head Cap Screws. Along with an (On and Off power switch).Also, (Guard Box-A) with it’s (Guard Box Hatch) will be attached to the top surface of ( Lid Cover-A) by (4) (M3x0.5x6mm) Flat Socket Head Cap Screws, for basic roll-over flight protection. Followed by the (Receiver Bracket Mount-A) will be located underneath (Lid Cover-A) to house and secure the (Receiver) component. Furthermore, (Lid Cover-A) will be attached to (Frame-A) by (16) (M3x0.5x16mm) Flat Socket Head Cap Screws.
On that note: I would like to thank you for participating in my (Inducted Fan Drone) build of your own. And just know this overall project is still in the (Prototype Stage) and development is ongoing. Furthermore, I have named my (Inducted Fan Drone) the (Europa Lander), to commemorate my participation in (NASA 2024 Message in A Bottle), its mission is a spaceship named the (Clipper) journey to Europa. And I hope to hear a NASA honorable name call, of all the participants in the (Message In The Bottle) mission to Europa, especially on the day of the launch of the Clippers spacecraft.
The spaceship Clipper launch date is in the month of October 2024. And it’s going to take about 6 years for the Clipper spaceship to arrive at Jupiter's Ice planet moon Europa. It’s no secret, I'm excited to follow the six year Clipper spaceship mission to Europa.
In the meantime, I would like to share my NASA inspired RC model aircraft/Inductive Fan Drone, alone with my childhood love for Aviation. as I would like to present and make available all my 3D printed parts needed in the construction of my (RC Inducted Fan Drone,) I have named the (Europa Lander). I hope you have a great build success and fly safely.
