Product Description
This is a replacement leading bogie for for the Hornby 00 scale P2 steam locomotive. This leading bogie is designed to track correctly over all track work and has been tested at high speed on both Peco code 100 and 75 medium radius turnouts, as well as fine scale track work. It also tracks correctly on Peco and Hornby set track. The purchaser needs to remove one wheel from the axle to fit the wheels to the truck. The purchaser also needs to remove the original bogie mounting of the locomotive. This is easily achieved using side cutters and small files. The bogie uses as a pivot point the forward screw location on the keeper plate of the locomotive, however the purchaser needs to provide a longer M2 screw with sufficient length to allow vertical movement in the leading bogie.
